Editorial standards
These rules sit above any guest brief or commercial conversation. If a paragraph cannot meet them, it does not go up.
Singapore first
We write for people who live here. That means British/Singapore spelling (licence, favour, centred), amounts in Singapore dollars, and MAS — not a foreign regulator — as the default authority. A US or EU rule is mentioned only when it changes what a Singapore customer can do.
Licence checks
Before we describe a platform as available to retail customers in Singapore, we look up the operating company on the MAS Financial Institutions Directory and record the activity (Digital Payment Token Service) and the licence type. If the brand is on the Investor Alert List, we say so in the opening section, not in a footnote.
Sources
Legal claims cite MAS notices, the Payment Services Act, IRAS e-Tax Guides, or the platform’s own Singapore terms. Fee tables are dated. If a number is from a marketing page and we cannot confirm it in an authenticated account, we say so.
Conflicts and sponsored links
Staff do not take token allocations for coverage. Guest posts are edited to the same standard as staff work. Any paid or commercially arranged outbound link is disclosed on the page and marked rel="sponsored". Internal links never carry that attribute. Read the guest-post guidelines.
Corrections
Factual errors are corrected in the article, with the date changed in the byline. We do not silently swap a licence status. Send evidence through the contact form.
What this site is not
Nothing here is a recommendation to buy or sell a digital payment token. Nothing here is tax advice for your IRAS file. High-leverage products, even when a licensee offers them, are described with the MAS retail-access limits in view.
