About CryptoMarkets.sg
We publish independent, long-form guides to crypto markets for people who live, bank and file taxes in Singapore.
CryptoMarkets.sg started as a WordPress review site that ranked crypto exchanges for Singaporeans — Bitcoin, ether, Litecoin, Dogecoin and XRP on one homepage, with how-to copy for Kraken, Luno, BitMEX and whoever else was advertising that month. The Wayback Machine still holds those pages. The product was useful in 2021. It is not useful now.
Luno shut its Singapore book. Binance was told to stop soliciting payment services here and remains on the MAS Investor Alert List. Retail onboarding now means Singpass, a risk-awareness assessment, PayNow deposits and a licence you can look up in the Financial Institutions Directory. We rebuilt the publication around those facts, not around a leftover affiliate table.
What we cover
The masthead still follows the old map: exchanges, coins, plus the pieces the original site never finished — MAS regulation and tax, custody and withdrawals, and market structure. Articles are written in British/Singapore English, priced in SGD, and aimed at readers who already have a DBS, OCBC or UOB account.
What we are not
We are not a broker, a DPT licensee, a financial adviser or a tax agent. We do not hold client assets. We do not publish live prices as a primary product. When a piece mentions a platform, it is because Singaporeans actually use it or because MAS has said something about it — not because a token listing team paid for a paragraph.
Guest posts and commercially arranged links, if we accept them, are labelled and carry rel="sponsored". Read the write-for-us guidelines and the editorial standards.
How to reach the desk
Corrections, licence updates and reader notes go through the contact form or support@worldwidebacklinks.com. If you want to pitch a reported piece, use the guest-post form. We would rather have one accurate MAS paragraph than a thousand words of recycled token marketing.
